Product Description
Description on the back of the card:
Admiralty Head Lighthouse on Whidbey Island, Washington, was built in 1861 and rebuilt in 1903. Its 18-inch thick walls were built to withstand the earthquakes that shake western Washington. The lighthouse ceased operation in 1922, but it is still a beautiful landmark on the shores of Puget Sound, with breathtaking views of the Olympic Mountains, shipping lanes with ferries, freighters, and cruise ships, and even occasional Orca whales.
